NIV Journal Bible
A journaling bible that I am sure will help you dive into the word better!
Review:
If you are like me and have never owned a journaling Bible, this would be a great first Bible to start with. I have written tons of notes in my previous bibles, but this was always very hard because there was almost no room to write. I then decided to write my notes on pieces of paper, but this made my Bibles very heavy, and it was often hard to keep my notes from falling out. When I received this Bible to review I could not help myself from diving into reviewing this Bible.
When I first dove into going through I noticed that while the pages seem thick, I am not sure if the pens I have would work well. I feel as though the pages needed to be a bit thicker than they already are. I also felt that the size of the lines would be hard to write in because of how small they are. I would not say that I have large handwriting, but I would also say that mine is not small. It is more in the middle of not too small, but not too large.
That being said, aside from a few little things, I really enjoyed receiving this Bible. I think that if I find the right pens then the thickness of the pages would not matter as much.

Overview:
The NIV, Journal Bible came out on October 27, 2020. It is currently offered in a Hardcover Cloth over Board teal, and Softcover Imitation Leather brown. While I would prefer to have the Leather Brown Bible, I decided to get out of the old and review a Bible that is not Imitation Brown Leather. Let me tell you how much of a great change this has been. I have enjoyed having such a beautiful Bible. This Bible is not only helpful, but it is also beautiful. Normally the reason I like the Leather is that it seems to hold up so well, but I am sure this Bible will be able to hold up for years to come.
